retyping this again(xanga prob) Here is a poem that i could really relate to.Its from my english literature "The Road Not Taken".This poem is an inspiration towards me and well people who have to make choices(fyi:everyone).There is a few lines that described how i feel being in the science stream and my regrets of not taking art stream. Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference This few lines show regret of knowing there is no way to chance a decision that has been made.We cannot go back into time to change what choices we made.What's done Is done.As we all know,every action we take has a price to pay.make decisions wisely.Don't gamble away your life just like that. We are the masters of our life.Our lifes lie in our own hands.The choices we make,no one can make them for us.When we were young our parents would make these choices for us.From which school we should go to, to what we should or should not do.From there,we learn to differentiate what is right and what is wrong.As we grow older,all our decisions must be made ourselves.We have to develop our minds to think rationally.Think before you react.Don't respond foolishly.For all you know you next step might even cost you the life of an innocent person. Life is like a game.Indeed it is.I am refering to board games such as monopoly.we hit start our day at the "go" point.fresh from every thing.no worries..then there is the "chance" and "chest box" on the board.These cards throw problems and sometimes opportunities at us.Grab the good opportunity people.It doesn't come by every day.But wait...before you make that decision do stop to think.."is this what i want to do?".Do what makes you happy.Don't do things for the sake of doing it. Other than that,i feel that this world has turned upside down..It is full of corruption an inhumanity.People who act like beast.Killing,murdering,rapping..when will it stop?what have this innocent people done to deserve a destiny like this.I am not saying that everyone is perfect.We all do make mistakes..Learn from them. Just like failing.Failure is not the end of the road.If it was,i doubt we would be living in the comforts of our homes with our tv's and internets,phones,etc.you get the picture.it was people like Albert Einstein who had strong determination and never gave up that got us here today-in this modern world of science and technology.They were the founders...without them..we would probably still be living in the stone age.Take failure as a guide to succeed.Learn from them.And work on our weak points.After all,you don't expect things to come in a click of your fingers do you? Life is full of problems..we don't and should not run from that.Do not take the easy way out.suicide is not the answer..nor is avoiding the problem.Nothing gets done that way.Believe me.I know.Fight through them.If you say its impossible look at Tee Hui Yee..The girl is only 14 and has already gone through so much from a mechanical heart to two heart surgeries.She fought through all this in order to live.See how lucky we are people to live in such a fortunate way given by God while some people have to show courage to life.And has all paid off for her as you can see.All it takes is strong determination.Know what we want,and work for it.Just as long as its good lar..lolx well thats it.so-called wise words from a not so wise person. *peace out* |

.in other words...i am depressed and stressed...woohoo...and fat...gah...
